Um... Taichi-san. How are classes going?

School starts again tomorrow. Friday was Ken-kun and Miyako-kun's last day of work. It's been an honor working with both of you.

Miyako-kun, I trust I'll still be seeing you regularly at the Computer Club meetings?

Ken-kun, you're always welcome here any time; my mother's grown quite fond of you, so don't be surprised if you get a box of cookies in the mail. And let me know if you need something to do this winter.

I'm sorry, Taichi-san, but I seem to be coming down with a cold, and I think it would be in my best interest to stay home and rest today.

The summer break will be over in a few weeks. University entrance exams will be coming up soon, and I'm still not certain as to what is the best path to take.

1.) My whole life, I've planned to go to Tokyo Tech's School of Engineering and major in computer science. I'd go to the Tamachi campus and keep living at home with my parents until I graduated. I've always been satisfied with this plan.

2.) Alternatively, Sora-san's father recently offered me a scholarship to study under him in Kyoto. I'd be studying something very different from what I intended, but something that would probably have more of an impact on the world. Clearly, to do this, I would have to move to Kyoto.

I've tried looking at this from a purely rational perspective, leaving out the details of my personal life; I've drawn up the lists of pros and cons and gone over the financial implications of each option. But I'm... I'm not good at incorporating the more... personal and emotional aspects of things into my decisions.

I'm not looking for comments telling me to do whatever will make me happy and that you'll support my decision either way. I want honest answers as to what would be best for me and for all of you. I know it sounds egotistical to imply that I have any sort of impact on your lives, and I apologize for that. But I mean, do you think I need to physically be here in case this Digimon situation gets worse or can we handle it just through online communication? And... do you want me to stay?

I'd really appreciate any input you may have. Thank you.

I just got home.

It was a very nice experience as usual. The lanterns on the river were beautiful tonight.

I did see a Kyaromon in Shinbayashi Park yesterday, but as far as I could tell, no one had reported any other appearances. I'm starting to think that they're somehow attracted to our Digivices and are therefore only appearing when one of us is present. I'll look into it.

I know this seems silly, but while most people leave offerings of food, I always leave some computer part or accessory for my father, because I know he'd love to see how technology is continuing to advance.

I'm sure the cemetary maintenance workers aren't very fond of me.

Reminder -

My parents and I will be going to Fujisawa on Sunday for Obon. We should be back Wednesday night. I'll have my phone and computer with me (...which I suppose seems a little wrong, but I'm sure they'd understand), so you can still contact me if anything new regarding the Digimon situation comes up, I just won't physically be here.

I'll let you know if the appearances seem to have spread to Kanagawa as well.

Ah, Sora-san, what kind of flower is it I'm supposed to bring to the cemetary again? I know I've been doing this for years, but for whatever reason, I can not remember flower names.

Thankfully, with Ken-kun's D3, we were able to send the Gumimon back home to the Digital World.

...I sort of miss him, actually, even if he was only here for a day and kept me up half the night by bouncing around my room.

I'm sure it was just transference, though.

Jou-san and I encountered a Gumimon today.

I'm, uh... actually sort of babysitting it now.

Ken-kun, please be sure to bring your D3 to work tomorrow.

Daisuke-kun accompanied Ken-kun to work on Friday. It was a very nice visit; I regret my actions and hope that they will be forgiven.

However, Daisuke-kun, if you could be so generous as to pay me back for the part you broke, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm glad all of us seem to have gotten through the weekend's storm unscathed. (Contrary to what you might think, Taichi-san, playing Monopoly does not count.)

Well, part of my hypothesis about the digivices was correct.

After shopping yesterday, I ended up coming over to Taichi-san's house to spend the night, which was a very good idea. I desperately needed to get away from my house for a while. I cancelled all my meetings for today; I told all my clients there was a family emergency. It's not really a lie, I consider Tentomon a part of my family.

Anyway, I'll just be here all day up until the meeting. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you.

oh god i'm constantly surrounded by electronics so it's been beeping and screeching for almost thirteen hours straight and i can't tune it out and i can't sleep

Edit: I had to take it all the way into the back of my parents' closet to get it to stop. It's in one of my mom's shoes right now so it will at least be partially muffled if it starts up again. Hopefully she'll remember that tomorrow morning before she tries to put the shoe on.

Friday really can't come soon enough.
